God works in strange and mysterious ways!!! I would never have dreamed that I would one day have a granddaughter from El Salvador. I have known Cindy and her family for many years.
We have watched God work miracles as visas were denied then approved. A beautiful wedding was held at Los Farallones on the beautiful Pacific on June 18, and then Cindy and Taylor arrived here on July 23, 2011.
They will have their US wedding on August 6. We are thrilled to welcome Cindy into our Stephens family. She and Taylor will work in the ministry in the field of construction.
Construction Trip
Taylor and Garrett Cook took a crew to El Salvador in July to build a kitchen for Jehovah Jireh Orphanage. They also enclosed an area used for Bible Classes at a church.
Our normal September Mission trip has been cancelled.
I will accompany Cathi Whitehead on a preaching trip September 17. Lindsey and Leah will go with us. We won't be able to take people with us on this trip. We plan to visit all of our families in the McDonald Foundation.
There may be news soon of a Woman's Ministry trip, headed up by Peggy Dobbs soon. Watch for news.
Please continue to pray for us. We are expanding the ministry and making some much needed plans.
